In today's fast paced and digital world, we may tend to overlook some small things that could bring us luck in our everyday lives. In practicing good artistic habits we also learn how to develop traditions and systems to creating art. Sharing, presenting art should involve thinking about the subject matter of art. Why are you using that particular subject matter? What does it mean to you?
Knowing the meaning of your work, stories behind the subject matter helps the artist realize that these things, people and places have much to tell us and even LUCK to bring. Many people all over the world celebrate St. Patrick's day whom, St. Patrick himself used to give to others, expecting nothing in return. It is an Irish holiday and over the centuries since, the ideas of St. Patrick's became well known as the Shamrock Symbolizing the LUCK.
Many people find that other things can mean good luck. Many other cultures have traditions for luck, love, life and money. Many subjects that you find as everyday objects, or animals, can mean and represent different ideas and enduring ideas in other cultures other than your own. I recommend researching LUCK this month to find out what the following objects and subject
matter means to you.
Here is a list of items that I have found ring people luck:
