May, Mental Health Month is almost here!

So, the long awaited festivities of May are finally approaching!

The Tulare County Health and Human Services division in our mental health community has been eagerly preparing this year's Friends and Family Fair event at Mooney's Grove Park.

There are many other things coming up that organizations all around Tulare County have put a lot of time and effort into.

So, what is MY VOICE MEDIA CENTER doing for Mental Health Awareness Month?!

Every year the Arts Consortium invites My Voice to be a part of the F1rst Friday event in some way. We are excited to announce that My Voice will be part of another open mic event, but this time it is song performances. If you have written your own song, practiced your own song, or would like to have a duo of original music or original cover songs, please come by the Arts Consortium on F1rst Friday at Oval Park. We will be located in the back of the building from 5-8 PM.

This year, too Arts Consortium has also invited participants to be a part of the Art Market wherein the participant is able to sell their artwork as an artist in our very own art community. People are able to attend this event from all over Tulare County and beyond. We encourage those new to Visalia to come on out and enjoy the art in Visalia, downtown Visalia, and see the vendors this MAY.
